EXTRAORDINARY INFORMATION On the decision made by the Central Bank of Hungary in the consumer protection procedure conducted on request

CIG Pannonia Life Insurance Plc. (registered office: H-1097 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán körút 11.B, company registration nr.: 01 10 045857, hereinafter referred to as Company or Insurer) in compliance with its relevant legal obligations, hereby informs the Esteemed Shareholders and other members of the public about the provisions contained in the operative part of the decision no H-FK-II-B-4/2024. of the Central Bank of Hungary (hereinafter referred to as MNB) dated January 31, 2024, received by the Company on February 5, 2024. Based on the consumer protection procedure conducted on request, the MNB called on the Insurance Company to comply with the legal provision prohibiting unfair commercial practices at all times, and imposed a consumer protection fine of HUF 400,000, i.e. four hundred thousand forints, on the Insurance Company for violating the legal provision prohibiting unfair commercial practices.
In connection with the above, the Company wishes to state that the legal violation identified by the MNB is an individual case, which fundamentally does not affect the future reliable operation of the Company.
With regard to the objection concerning the annual information on the current status of the insurance contract and the information provided after the termination of the contract. the MNB did not identify any infringement in the consumer protection procedure.
