EXTRAORDINARY INFORMATION On the decision concluding an ex officio target investigation conducted by the MNB on its own initiative

CIG Pannonia Life Insurance Plc. (registered office: H-1097 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán boulvard 11.B, company registration nr.: 01 10 045857, hereinafter referred to as Company or Insurer) in compliance with its relevant legal obligations, hereby informs the Esteemed Shareholders and other members of the public in the attached annex about the provisions contained in the operative part of the decision no. H-FH-II-B-2/2024. of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB, Supervisory Authority) dated April 26, 2024 received by the Company on the same day. The MNB closed the target investigation launched on Octobre 30, 2023 by imposing a consumer protection fine of HUF 22,500,000 i. e. twenty-two million five hundred thousand HUF.

In connection with the above, the Company wishes to state that it has immediately started fulfilling the obligations of the MNB and remedying the deficiencies. At the same time, it examines the possibilities of seeking legal remedy based on the contents of the decision and the well-founded statements made by the Company in the procedure.
The Company also wishes to state that the findings set out in the decision fundamentally does not affect the future reliable operation of the Company. The operative part of the decision in accordance with the Bit. Section 108/A.§ has been published on the Company's website.
