IPO

The IPO of CIG Pannonia Life Insurance Plc. was one of the greatest national IPO of the recent years at the Budapest Stock Exchange.

It represented our company’s highlighted goal that its clients become the owners of the firm; meanwhile shareholders become clients in the future based on reciprocity.

The first trading day was on the 8th of November 2010.

Originally the subscription procedure itself was planned to be carried out in two phases (dual phased sales). After a successful Retail Subscription Period however which concluded on the 22nd of October 2011 not enough shares where left for the second phase. Therefore the Major Investor Auction* planned for the 25th of October 2010 was canceled.

The subscription was preceded by a nationwide Road show about the IPO between September 27th 2010 and October 8th 2010. Its stations were in six major Hungarian cities: Szeged, Debrecen Miskolc, Pécs, Sopron and Budapest.
